What's a StackUp?

A StackUp is an event where the lead technologists or designers of a pre-screened set of companies show off what they do and how they do it - from a tech point of view. For this StackUp, only developers can attend.

At this StackUp, hear lead engineering managers share best practices on managing tech teams. Get an inside look into how New York City startups develop their engineering management strategy.

Speakers will share engineering management methodologies/philosophies, what makes their team unique, the challenges/constraints they come across, what has worked well and what hasn't, unique choices they have made, and more. This is a developers only event.

Jean Barmash: Jean is VP of Engineering at Komodo Health. Komodo Health uses patient data to help enterprise customers reduce the burden of disease by launching new treatments faster and making better decisions.  

Nitya Oberoi: Nitya is Senior Engineering Manager at charity: water. charity: water is a tech focused non-profit company that helps bring clean water to people in developing countries.

Dan Ubilla: Dan is Engineering Manager at VTS. VTS is building the modern operating system for commercial real estate.
